Had online for both Alg001 & Trig00D. I love her! There is quite a bit of work tho. If u are stuck on a problem, she has very clear videos. Nothing is proctored. Only 7-10 problems for an exam. She answers questions. I suck at math, but she makes it possible to get high 90-100% if u do the work. & there are helpful calculators online (ex: Mathway)

there is BUTTLOAD of work and multiple tests to do. Nothing is graded by her so showing your work is irrelavent. You get graded on if you type it in right. Tests are 60 questions and 4 tests a semester not to mention a ton of hw every week. Overall its not a friendly class to learn in.

I took the online college algebra. Class was very well organized and easy to follow. She's sweet and caring teacher. It's easy if you do homework. Gives out the practice exams and extra credit.

There is just an insane amount of workload every single week. Late work is graded at 75% at best. She doesn't even grade it herself. Its 100% computer generated

Professor Carr was there and quickly replied to questions. The examples in her videos and the common questions on OneNote were very helpful. She gives extra credit and accepts late homework.

Math, in general, is hard for most but Professor Carr works with you to make it less scary. If you put in the work and challenge yourself then you will pass. If you are not driven or motivated then you won't pass. Clear lectures and professor is always around to help or direct you to tutoring options.

Used video lectures, most not from her. Canvas mastery higher than normal. Exam reviews earn you extra credit, up to 3% of your grade. Multiple chances on hw for right answer, can even get a similar problem and multiple chances on that for right answer. Got 102.19% out of a possible 103%.

This class is really time consuming so I wouldn't recommend taking it if you already have a full work load. At least 6 hours of homework each week if you do all of it. The videos she provides are helpful but the topics covered are just tough to understand in general. She's a really sweet person though and helps you if you're confused.

Comment:

Online Math isn't as great. She posts each week youtube videos where she explains the problem as she would in class. Each week there are 5 topics with each 15-30 Problems to solve. It is very time-consuming, especially if you struggle you have to find on your own other videos and examples to help. Exams are proctored. Hand note are graded in exams.
