I took Dr.J over the summer. Professor was awesome! He really cares about your performance in his class. He is very knowledgeable about the finance world, so his lecture is filled with real world examples(very useful for job interviews, or to start a conversation). We used the book rarely. The class consisted of 2 Exams and 1( 20-40 pg) report.

Took online only class. Tons of work and he is a tough grader. Many papers and huge business plan. Get ready to read the book. I worked my butt off and am hoping to earn an A. Biggest complaint - the amount of time spent writing essays.

I took his class online. Tests are based on book and most if not all answers can be found (Open notes & Open everything) if you know what I mean. The hard part though is the 12 essays for each chapter. I always average 45/50 and I heard you always get between 40-50. 30 EC from CBA this semester IDK about next year. Wants you to pass really!

One of my favorite professors by far! He explains the material clearly and uses real-life examples. He cracks jokes and makes the lectures fun to listen to. His grading is fair and gives good feedback. I wish I could take more of his classes!

When signing up for classes his name is listed as Kuei-Hsien Niu. He is funny and makes classlectures interesting! He seems like a pretty easy grader. He takes random attendance throughout the semester, so if you aren't there on the day he takes it you will miss out on some points. I would definitely recommend taking Professor Niu!

Dr. Niu was great. He has clear lectures and does NOT use power point. Some test questions can be hard but for the most part they are straight forward. I took him for the summer session and HIGHLY recomend taking him over the summer. We had 1 company project with 5 group members. He chooses the groups. Pretty easy project. Take him!

This professor is one of the laziest professors I've had. He never return the second exam. We had to wait 3 weeks to find out our scores, and it was all Scranton. Funny stories that had nothing to do with the material. Not a hard grader, but very unclear on expectations. Learned nothing in this class. Another useless waste of precious time.

Class consists of 3-4 group presentations on articles (selected by prof & read by everyone) every week. Prof teaches for about 5-10 mins each class. Students are required to participate, give 2 of those group presentations and a final research project (presentation and 20-30 pg paper in 4 person group).

He may not use PowerPoint but his lectures don't begin to cover his in-depth exam questions (roughly 30). Do read your textbook. Project instructions not totally clear but he's not so strict on grading projects as long as you include outlined material. Just hope you get a half-way decent group.
